Perfection Quotient (PQ)
The Perfection Quotient (PQ) measures your nonprofit organization's strengths, weaknesses and overall health by identifying its performance according to The Perfect Nonprofit Model.
The Perfection Quotient is based on your assessments of your organization's performance in each of the key components of The Perfect Nonprofit Model. This diagnostic tool has a series of quality statements against which you measure your organization's performance.
Based on your input, a report is created that gives your organization grades for its performance according to each of the key components of The Perfect Nonprofit Model as well as its overall Perfection Quotient.
These grades are explained in the report together with your answers to each question and the "Perfect Practices". This information indicates where your organization needs to focus its attention for improvement.
The Perfect Nonprofit Model
The Perfect Nonprofit Model is described in the book, The Perfect Nonprofit: A Holistic, Balanced Approach to Nonprofit Management, written by David Condon and Kevin Bingham. The Perfect Nonprofit Model is a guide for the professional and volunteer leadership of nonprofits that helps them make their organizations successful in meeting the needs and expectations of their constituents.

PQ Grades
The Perfection Quotient is an assessment of how the organization is performing. The grades are summarized below but your personal report will contain a lot more detailed information to help guide it towards sustainable, outstanding performance.

Outstanding - Congratulations! This is truly an outstanding organization. Great organizations do not rest on their laurels; they drive themselves to greater heights by creating new goals and by always seeking to serve the needs of their community.
Commendable - Strong fundamental performance. Organizations at this level are beginning to show the well-rounded balance that is the goal of all organizations. Some fine-tuning is needed to get to the Outstanding level of performance.
Acceptable - This organization is performing at basic minimal standards. It has much work to do to reach a sustainable level of performance. You must continue to build on the areas where you scored well and address your areas of weakness.
Failing - Organizations at this level for their Perfection Quotient are failing or in danger of failing unless fundamental weaknesses in all areas are rectified quickly.
